Overview
Hiring teams spend hours every week reading CVs, writing interview questions for each role and setting up first-round calls. Open CV Engine cuts that down. You paste in a job description, upload a batch of CVs, and get back a ranked list of candidates with notes on skills, experience and fit, plus interview questions written for the role.
I built the platform end-to-end. Recruiters sign in with Google, invite their team and work in their own workspace, where job posts, evaluations and interview recordings are kept separate from other teams. The evaluation pipeline reads CVs and job descriptions and produces structured scores. For async interviews, candidates get a link, record answers to the questions in their own time, and the hiring team reviews them together with shared notes.
It runs on Feather, my Python web framework, with Postgres for data, background jobs for the AI evaluation, and cloud storage for CVs and videos.
